G. Fodor Gábor

G. Fodor Gábor is a political scientist and political philosopher. Today he works as a political strategist and communications advisor, and is the author of Százharmincnégy. He was formerly the strategic director of Századvég, its deputy chairman, and chairman of the foundation between 2018 and 2021, and for years the editor-in-chief of the news and opinion portal 888.hu.

He earned his degree in political science at the University of Miskolc in 1999, received his doctorate at the ELTE Faculty of Law in 2003, and habilitated in 2011. He taught for nearly a decade and a half at ELTE's Institute of Political Science, for three years at Corvinus University of Budapest, and worked as a junior researcher at the Institute for Political Science of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He held research fellowships in Austria on several occasions and was a visiting lecturer at Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo.

His work has been recognised with several awards, including the Academy Youth Prize, the Aurél Kolnai Prize, the Bezerédj Prize and the Academy's Bolyai plaque. He has written books on, among other subjects, the civic radicals, the political philosophy of Eric Voegelin, and governance. His recent books include Az Orbán-szabály, Politikai virológia, A „késes” ember, Orbán kontra Soros and Ahol a labda lesz.
