Privacy notice

1. The controller

The data controller is G. Fodor Gábor, a private individual (the "Controller"). Contact: gabor@gfodorgabor.hu.

2. Data processed

• the name, email address and message content you provide in the contact form;
• technical data (e.g. IP address, browser data, log data) processed by the hosting and CDN provider for operation and security.

3. Purpose of processing

Receiving and answering your enquiry, keeping in contact, and operating the site securely.

4. Legal basis

Your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given via the checkbox before submitting the form; for enquiries about services, steps prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). For technical data, the Controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in secure operation.

5. Processors

The Controller uses the following providers:

• Web3Forms: forwarding the contact form;
• Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Workspace): email;
• Cloudflare, Inc. and GitHub, Inc.: hosting, content delivery (CDN), security;
• Rackhost Zrt. (Hungary): domain registration and DNS.

6. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Union (e.g. the USA). Any transfer takes place with appropriate safeguards (e.g. the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses).

7. Retention

Data is kept for as long as needed to answer the enquiry and for any further contact, after which it is deleted. [Specific retention period to be provided.]

8. Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing, and exercise the right to data portability. Consent may be withdrawn at any time, free of charge (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing). You can submit your request at the email address above.

9. Remedies

You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH) (1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11.; naih.hu), or turn to a court in case of an infringement.

10. Cookies

The site uses no tracking (marketing) cookies. The hosting/CDN provider may set technically necessary cookies for operation.
